We are not certain how long Writersperhour.com has been in business., although we have been able to find some comments about the service going back about two years. In conducting our review of this agency, we used the following criteria: explanations and other company information within the website content, testimonials fund on the site, quality of writing and services as shown by writing samples and by customer reviews, pricing, discounts and benefits, customer service responses, and through an evaluation of a piece of writing we ordered and received.

Products and Services

Writers Per Hour is typical of a number of writing services, in that it offers a wide range of products and services. Students from high school through Ph.D.  programs can place orders for anything from basic essays all the way through dissertations. Other services for students include admissions essays, coursework help, and editing.

The company also offers business writing and reports and article writing for web publication.

Website Quality

The Writersperhour website is well-structured with links across the top of each page for easy navigation to informational pages. Pages load quickly, and there are listings of the products and services in several places.

Reading through the content, we picked up on a number of grammatical and word usage errors, suggesting that it has been composed by an ESL writer. The company states, however, that all of its writers are native English-speaking pros with graduate degrees who come from the U.S., UK, Australia, and Canada. If this is true, why not have one of them compose the site content?

Quality of Products and Services

We considered several factors in determining quality and here is what we found:

• Site published testimonials are all glowing
• Off-site customer reviews are not as positive. The majority of complaints relate to poor quality of grammar and composition and style that is too simplistic for the academic level.
• Our study of the samples found the same issues that customer did. We reviewed a college level narrative essay and a research paper. Both were far too elementary in composition style and vocabulary, and there were a number of grammatical and language usage errors.
• The research paper we ordered reflected the same issues.

Certainly, Writersperhour.com is not a fraud or scam. However, the company should focus on acquiring better writers or in editing their works before they are delivered to customers.

We could not find a company BBB membership.

Relative to customer service, we did contact the company via phone. The agent was clearly foreign, difficult to understand, and could not provide a lot of detail about company policies. We did ask about a Ph.D. dissertation and earned that for $6598.00 we could have one in two days – big red flag.

Prices and Discounts

Writers Per Hour prices are high once you get beyond the basic high school level. They begin at $12.99/page for a 14-day deadline and run all the way up to $80.99/page for Ph.D. level work with urgent deadlines. Our 8-page college paper, with a 7-day deadline cost $215.92 before a new customer discount.

Speaking of discounts, new customers receive 15% off, and there is a promo code to enter in the order form. The company also states it provides coupon codes too loyal customers, for up to 20% off. We couldn’t find any details on the site.

Extra Features

Writersperhour customers can request unlimited revisions. There are also free title, outline, and bibliography pages, along with free formatting and a plagiarism report.

Conclusion

We always try to list pros & cons in our reviews. This company does produce products and deliver them to customers. Beyond that, there is not much more to say. Quality of product is a concern, especially for the price. Claims of only ENL writers are obviously exaggerated, and no professional writer could produce a dissertation in two days. Students can do better elsewhere. Our overall rating is “Fair.”
